Natural Homemade Nail Disorder recipes and Remedies
Certain nail fungus and disorders can be easily treated and cured without a trip to the doctor. Natural remedies can be very effective, especially with nail fungus, Athletes foot, discolored nails and such. Why not give a homemade holistic go at it first. However, if the ailment doesn't cease to exist after a couple of weeks, you might want to see your physician.
Tea Tree Oil Hand & Foot Soak for Fungus
Ingredients:
1/2 cup warm cider vinegar
6 drops of tea tree oil
1/2 cup warm water for hands
Double the amounts for a foot soak
Directions:
Blend ingredients into a soaking bowl for hands or a large bowl for feet. Soak for 10-20 several times a week to kill fungus
Fungal Nail Oil Recipe
Ingredients:
4 teaspoons cider vinegar
1/8 cup of distilled water or boiled water
Directions:
Apply to affected areas with cotton 3 times daily.
Apply 1 or 2 drops of tea tree oil directly to infected finger and toe nails 3 times daily. You can also dilute this with a carrier oil such as olive oil, almond oil etc.
Foot Powder Recipe
Ingredients:
2 tablespoon of corn flour or unscented talc powder
Directions:
Add powder into a small plastic bag. Add the essential oils. Close bag and allow to sit for 24 hours. Shake well before using.
Fungal Nail Oil Recipe
Ingredients:
2 drops Oregano essential oil
teaspoon of olive oil
Directions:
Rub on afflicted area everyday for a maximum of 3 weeks. Oregano EO is also a powerful antiseptic and fungicide
