Almond Hand Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of beeswax
1/2 cup of almond oil
1/2 cup of coconut oil
1/4 cup of rosewater
Directions:
Heat 1/4 cup of beeswax slowly in a double boiler. Add 1/2 cup of almond oil to the melted beeswax. Stir in 1/2 cup of coconut oil. Mix in 1/4 cup of rosewater and stir until thoroughly mixed. You can buy rosewater, or make your own by simmering 1 cup of fresh rose petals in one and a half cups of distilled water for 10 minutes and then straining the flowers from the water. Pour the hand cream into a container while it is still hot, as it will become firm as it cools.
Cocoa Butter Hand Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. Beeswax
4 Tbsp. Cocoa butter
4 Tbsp. Almond oil
Directions:
Melt together beeswax and cocoa butter. Add almond oil. Mix completely until smooth. Pour into jar. Let harden
Shea Butter Hand Cream Recipe for mature skin
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp parts shea butter
2 Tbsp part camellia seed oil
10 drops carrotseed essential oil (
Directions:
Combine shea butter and camellia oil in a double boiler. Heat until the shea butter melts. Mix well, then add the essential oils
Beeswax Coconut Moisturizing Hand Cream recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. Beeswax
2 Tbsp. Avocado butter
8 Tbsp. Coconut oil
Directions:
Melt together wax and butter. Add oil. Mix completely until smooth. Pour into jar. Let harden
Beeswax Mango Butter Hand Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbs. Beeswax
2 Tbs. Mango butter
8 Tbs. Coconut oil
10 drops carrotseed essential oil
Directions:
Melt together wax and butter. Add oil. Then add essential oils. Mix completely until smooth. Pour into jar. Let harden. Mango butter also reduces degeneration of skin cells and restores elasticity.
Shea Butter Hand Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. Beeswax
2 Tbsp. Shea butter
8 Tbsp. Evening Primrose Oil
10 drops Lavender essential oil
Directions:
Melt together wax and butter. Add oil. Then add essential oils. Mix completely until smooth. Pour into jar. Let harden.
Coffee-licious Hand Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
4 Tbsp. Beeswax
2 Tbsp. Coffee Bean Butter butter
2 Tbsp. Roasted Coffee Oil
6 Tbsp. Jojoba Oil
Directions:
Melt together wax and butter. Add oil. Mix completely until smooth. Pour into jar. Let harden. Coffee oil is rich in phytosterols which promote excellent moisture retention, quick penetration and is a powerful antioxidant.
When making your own hand creams and hand lotions, remember these tips:
- If going preservative-free.... It's important to remember that your natural products will not stay fresh for as long as commercial products do. By making your products in small batches that you use up within a short period of time, your products will stay fresh and you eliminate the need to preserve your products with harsh chemical preservatives.
- Always keep water away from your jars! Even dipping a wet finger into a jar of your fresh lotion can contaminate it. Always make sure fingers are clean and dry or use an application to remove your lotion.
- Store your products in dark containers or opaque packaging to keep them away from the harmful effects of sunlight.
- More oil in a formulation will make the product thinner like a cream. More butter or beeswax will make the product more balm like and harder.

Lanolin Dry Hand Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
3 tbls lanolin
1 tbsp Avocado Oil
1 tbs Hemp Seed Oil
1 capsule vitamin E
Directions:
Melt together lanolin and oil on low heat, double boiler. Add Vitamin E. Mix completely until smooth. Pour into jar. Let harden.
Lemon Honey Hand Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
3 tbsp beeswax
1 tbsp liquid lanolin
1/2 cup light sesame oil
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 teaspoon honey
15 drops lemon essential oil
Directions:
Melt together all ingredients except for essential oils, on low heat double boiler. Mix completely until smooth. Add EOs. Pour into jar. Let harden
